Master in your comfort zone

Some people are rather masters in their comfort zone instead of beginners outside it.

I would highly recommend to be a beginner outside the comfort zone, because that is where you start growing, that’s where you start seeing miracles and your true value. Whatever is out there is much better than where you are now.

I have had so many challenges this year, each and every day was a challenge for me but I know that whatever I had in my mind I did it! I did it!!!! I reached whatever I wanted last year.

We have one more month in this year, what have you reached, did you grow or do you have the same mindset as you had last year or the year before?! How do you feel about that?! It hurts doesn’t it? It hurts that you are still the same as you were at the beginning of the year.

Make a CHANGE, go and get WHAT you want. I know you want to, I know that YOU want to do something amazing with your life!!! What is stopping you, what is holding you back?! How can you judge the place outside your comfort zone based on your fears, how do you know that it is maybe even better! GO AND RUN OUTSIDE YOUR COMFORT ZONE.

Whatever you want to achieve GET IT IN 2017!!!!!

The urge to do more

I really wish for you to step out of your comfort zone and get to your goal. Have you ever had this feeling of knowing what you want and where you want to go but you just don’t know how? You can imagine it, you can see it, you dream about it but you just don’t know how. This how that we hold in our minds creates the fear of failure, the fear of moving forward and the fear of living our dreams.

BUT if we listen to the laws of the universe we have to understand that the HOW is not up to us but the Universe, and the Universe will create the path for us to follow. This happens without you even knowing how all these things are unfolding. But deep down you will understand, the Universe provides the how when you trust it and listen to it.

Let go of the fear that is attached to the HOW! It literally takes away your happiness, your energy and your dreams…

Where focus goes energy flows

If you don’t know it already, thoughts are energy. As simple as it may seem it is not always easy for the human brain to understand. We think to much! Always worried about things that are not going to happen, or what the future might or might not bring, being sad or angry about the past. The mind just cannot sit still sometimes and our FOCUS goes into a very wrong direction. Trust me, I’m telling you this from experience. If over-thinking was a competition, I will be the one winning the prize over and over again.

However, thanks to the books that I have been reading over the years and the seminars I went to and the video’s I have been watching on YouTube, I can understand a bit more about energy and thoughts. The mind is hungry for negative thoughts and feelings, it is being fed that way and it will continue if you don’t know how to give it a good meal!

If you want to change your circumstances start with one simple thing…FOCUS. If you do not know where you are focusing on look at where you are now in life.

  • Are you happy (most important question) ?
  • Are you healthy ?
  • Do you love your job (99% will say no) ?
  • Have you created (or on your way) of creating the abundance you desire?
  • Do you like the people you hang out with ?
  • What is your first thought when you wake up and the last one when you go to sleep?

You can ask yourself whatever you want, what is your current situation now and are you happy with it. If not, then you know what you are focusing on… not the things you want to attract in your life.

You see, the energy you are attracting in your life HAS to match your focus. NO EXCEPTIONS… trust me ;).

Change your focus and you will change the energy coming into your life ..and thennn ….the results that you want to see in your life will flow just like a river.. so calm and peaceful… hmm that’s a nice feeling.

Spend your money wisely

I received a very nice message from a dear friend yesterday, I thought it was definitely worth sharing it with all of you. Maybe this could even be one of your goals for 2016…

An interesting perspective – I never really looked at it this way –

Imagine that you had won the following PRIZE in a contest: Each morning your bank would deposit $86,400 in your private account for your use.  However, this prize has rules:

The set of rules:

  1. Everything that you didn’t spend during each day would be taken away from you.

  2. You may not simply transfer money into some other account.

  3. You may only spend it.

  4. Each morning upon awakening, the bank opens your account with another $86,400 for that day.

  5. The bank can end the game without warning; at any time it can say,“Game Over!”. It can close the account and you will not receive a new one.

What would you personally do?

You would buy anything and everything you wanted right? Not only for yourself, but for all the people you love and care for. Even for people you don’t know, because you couldn’t possibly spend it all on yourself, right?

You would try to spend every penny, and use it all, because you knew it would be replenished in the morning, right?

Shocked ??? YES!

Each of us is already a winner of this PRIZE. We just can’t seem to see it.

  1. Each morning we awaken to receive 86,400 seconds
    as a gift of life.

  2. And when we go to sleep at night, any remaining time is Not credited to us.

  3. What we haven’t used up that day is forever lost.

  4. Yesterday is forever gone.

  5. Each morning the account is refilled, but the bank can dissolve your account at any time WITHOUT WARNING…

SO, what will YOU do with your 86,400 seconds?

Those seconds are worth so much more than the same amount in dollars.  Think about it and remember to seek blessings & happiness every second of your life, because time races by so much quicker than you think.

So take care of yourself, be happy, love deeply and enjoy life!

Here’s wishing you a wonderful and beautiful day. Start “spending”….

I was born in Baghdad

As an Arab woman and a few years over the age of 25, I get the questions “shouldn’t you be married right now”, “why are you not married”, “Do your parents try to force you into marriage”, “Must be hard for you to be who you want to be”.

I think that the previous generations and the culture created an image of a woman that has by far changed over the last decades.

First of all, I do not think that marriage is a priority in my life. I love my life the way it is now, I have great career opportunities, I am an adventurous type of woman and I do not feel less Arab because I do not have a ring on my finger. Unfortunately, the society has not seen all the great Arab women out there that are actually doing great things.

Yes, my parents are Muslim, yes they are very into our Iraqi cultural, yes of course they would be happy if I found my perfect husband and yes they have many rules that I had to live by. But it doesn’t mean that they will never stand behind me when they see that my happiness is not quit similar to what they had in mind for me.

I moved to Australia, and they were not very happy about it, yet I am here and they are very proud of me.

I ran marathons that were in other countries and I traveled alone, yet they did let me go and I know they always thought that I might not make it. They still supported me.

I am  not married yet, and they wish I was with someone right now, yet they are still happy that I am enjoying my life with or without a partner. And although they keep asking if I met someone, they will never force me into marriage.

My parents think that education is very important, they think exercising is absolutely a must in someones’ life. My mom always told me to never let a man raise his hands or voice towards me. My dad always treated me with lots of care and love, and he listened and gave me advise whenever I felt upset.

Yes, I was born  in Baghdad and I come from an Islamic family. And I live my life the way I wish to, because I believe that Arab women are capable of doing great things in this world. And I can already see the evidence in my life.
